Be a part of this week-long trip to central Mexico supporting our long term missionaries Rob and Kathy Johnson. BCC has a long history of making short-term mission trips to Mexico, including school bus trips with high school students in the 80s. Most recently, we’ve spent time with the pastors of two churches and formed a lifelong relationship with them. It’s been a privilege to minister to them in whatever capacity we can during our visits. We do receive updates that God is moving among some of the unreached ares where we’ve had the privilege to pray.

MISSION TRIP INFORMATION

DATES: January 14-21, 2023

LOCATION: Leon, Mexico

WHO CAN GO: Open to adults and teens who are accompanied by a parent.

THE FOCUS: This trip will be a support to pastors and missionaries in Mexico. Evangelical pastors in Mexico can be overwhelmed by both spiritual and physical needs. As part of this team you’ll get an opportunity to be an active missionary in this least-reached region of Mexico. Sample activities include participating in children’s ministry at a local church, handing out food and tracts at one or more hospitals and parks, and visiting and praying with local church planters. The trip will be led by two Mexican pastors and Rob Johnson.

THE MISSION DETAILS: We will spend our week in Leon and the Highlands of Jalisco. We’ll spend time visiting and praying over villages where there are no known born-again believers or evangelical churches. The week may also include holding VBS, leading worship at a local church, and handing out food at a local hospital.

COST & EXPENSES: Coming soon. We will have interest meetings on Oct. 9, Oct. 30 and Nov. 6.
