Jesus, the Ascended One

This will be the final message in our study of the life of Jesus. There upon the Mount of Olives Jesus gave one final promise to His disciples – that of the empowerment through the Holy Spirit. They would be able to accomplish nothing without this power. He also gave them one final challenge – they would begin their ministry in Jerusalem, a city that had been hostile to Jesus. And, through two angelic witnesses, they were given a powerful hope to anticipate – Jesus would return again. What an amazing climax in our study of the life
of Jesus.
