We hear such proverbs as “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” It all depends upon the way we view a situation. What is an obstacle for some becomes a great opportunity for others. Israel, while in the wilderness, came to a crossroads. It would be a place where a decision would determine their immediate future. Kadesh would long be remembered as the place of decision. What would they see? Would they see the obstacles that were part of the Promised Land, or would they see the incredible opportunities to grow in their faith with God?
