Holy Week Schedule

Maundy Thursday Service – 7:00 PM

Please join us on Maundy Thursday for an evening of reflection upon the events of the final hours of Jesus’ life.  Our service will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is titled, “From the Shadows.”  There will be special readings from the Word of God and music that will cause us to experience more fully Gethsemane, the trials of Jesus, His crucifixion, and His burial.  The evening will close with a time of Communion.  The service will be done in near darkness as we observe “from the shadows.”  This is a very special time when, as families, we can remember the reason why we hold our salvation so dear; it was an incredible price that Jesus paid.  Invite a friend to come and share with you and your family that evening.

Easter Sunday Service – 7:45, 9:00, 10:15 & 11:30 AM

Why Preach the Resurrection of Christ?
The BCC Apologetics class just spent time examining the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ and have discovered that it is one of the best attested events in history. But why should we preach the resurrection? Why should Easter Sunday be any different than any other Sunday? The answer is clearly found in Paul’s great discourse on the resurrection in First Corinthians 15.  The bottom line is simply this: if there is no resurrection, then there can be no faith, there can be no salvation.  Yes, there is an urgency to preaching the resurrection – not just on Easter Sunday, but every day.  Our hope is depended upon it.
