FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How do I register?
Please visit www.myvbs.org/buffalocovenantchurch to register for Athens- Family Style VBS

Why are we doing VBS in light of Covid-19?
Children’s Ministry at BCC is committed to spreading the Gospel of Christ more, while also spreading harmful germs less. We believe that through Family Style VBS we can accomplish both of these things!

Why does an adult have to attend VBS with my child(ren)?
We believe that the safest way to be healthy, take precautions, AND hold VBS this year is to have families participate in VBS together.  The adult leader in the “Oikos” (which is Greek for “family”/”household”) can responsibly keep their family unit together, going from activity to activity.

Can my child go with a friend?
We strongly prefer that families stay together, but if there is a special circumstance, please contact Pastor Janine.

Will there be childcare for the littles?
There will not be childcare for littles this year, they can do VBS too!  If your child is 2 years or under, they can be with you, AND there will be NO charge for them to attend VBS.

Does the adult in the Oikos have to do the games, crafts, activities?
We highly encourage everyone in the Oikos to participate as much as possible!  This is your time to be a kid again!  Live it up!

Isn’t Oikos a kind of yogurt?
You are smart!  It sure is!  Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt is apparently the “family yogurt”!
