Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas ChildJoy to the world, one shoebox at a time! • Boxes will be available to pick up at BCC on Sunday, Nov 5• Boxes are due back at BCC by Monday, November 20. What is it? Join in this unique opportunity to share Christ with a child using a simple shoebox! Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian relief and evangelism ministry led by Franklin Graham. This Christmas, children overseas will receive the shoebox gifts, hand delivered, along with Christian literature in their own language. What an opportunity to reach children with a clear presentation of the Gospel! This program provides an opportunity for individuals of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project that reaches out to suffering children while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ, God’s greatest gift. Here’s what you can do! Prepare a shoebox (or plastic shoebox-sized container with lid). Fill it with personal care items, school supplies, and small toys. Include a cash gift to help with delivery costs. Bring the completed box to church by Monday, November 20. Volunteers Needed Buffalo Covenant is a shoebox drop site this year for our local area and we need your help managing the drop-off dates.
