Access desires to Glorify God by making the Gospel of Jesus accessible to individuals with disabilities and to support and equip families who make disciples of Jesus Christ. Children’s Ministry Sunday School Sunday Mornings, 10:10-10:50 am // Children’s Wing Children (birth-5th grade) with special needs are invited to participate with their same age peers in our Children’s Ministry classrooms. After parents fill out an INTAKE FORM and KIDS BIO SHEET, and meet with Tonya Sands, Director of Special Needs Ministry, we will develop a ministry plan to support these students in their classroom. Access Sunday School Sunday Mornings, 10:10-10:50 am // Room 108 Join us during 10:10 Express Sunday school as teens and adults with special needs learn about Jesus and experience rich relationship with one another. The first step in joining our Sunday School class is to fill out a REGISTRATION FORM. You can fill it out online, and then email to Tonya. Access Impact Monday Nights, 6-7:30 pm // Youth Room, Gym, Room 201 Impact is a ministry for teens (sixth grade or older) and adults with special needs. We play games, sing songs, learn about Jesus, and build friendships with one another. The first step in joining Impact is to fill out a REGISTRATION FORM. You can fill it out online and then email to Tonya at the address below. Parent Connect Engage with other parents/caregivers on Sunday mornings as we navigate our unique blessings and challenges of caring for children/adults with special needs. This year we will focus on how we live out our relationship with Jesus as we explore topics such as finding the importance of community, being thankful, and God’s faithfulness. We meet from 10:10-10:50 am in the Youth Lobby, Dates for this year are: October 29, November 19, January 28, February 25, March 17, and April 28. Moms Connect Join us at Tonya’s Sands’ home as we embark on a creative devotional study called Discovering Hope in the Psalms. We’ll explore 10 psalms of hope through compelling teachings, motivating devotions, and plenty of creative options for interaction. This study will show us how to: rejoice in God’s mercy when sin knocks you down request help with hope when troubles surround respond with thanksgiving for each answered prayer We’ll meet Wednesdays from 9-10:30 am. Dates for the year: Oct. 11, Nov. 1 & 15, Dec. 6 & 13, Jan. 3 & 17, Feb. 7 & 21, March 6 & 20, April 10 & 24, and May 1 & 15. Serving Opportunities We want to celebrate the unique ways God has created and gifted each person through opportunities to be an active, ministering part of the body of Christ. Opportunities to serve include: GREETING/USHERING Join us either through greeting or ushering (handing out bulletins) in welcoming and creating a sense of belonging to everyone who comes to BCC, once a month for the 11 am service.
