Jesus-Raising Lazarus from the Dead

This is perhaps the most familiar and the last public miracle that Jesus did while here on earth. Yet it is only recorded for us in the Gospel of John. Jesus had a close relationship with Lazarus and his sisters, Mary and Martha. So, why did Jesus delay His going when He heard Lazarus was near death? And what did Jesus mean when He told Martha that He was the resurrection and the life? Finally, what significance did this miracle have for Jesus? Does it have any significance to the Easter Story? These are the questions we will be examining.
