The Birth: The Magi’s Story

This story that we identify with the Christmas Story in all probability did not occur at the time the angels celebrated the birth announcement with the shepherds.  This story could have occurred as much as two years later – Jesus being then in his “terrible twos,” if such a thing were possible with Jesus.  In this message we will focus upon King Herod, a man who strongly opposed this newly born “king of the Jews;” the religious leaders who were indifferent to Jesus; and the Magi who sought and worshiped the child Jesus.  Oh the lessons we need to learn from this story about how people yet today respond to the good news of Jesus Christ.
